MUNSTER RESIDENTS PROTECTING THE PLANET
There are many people in Munster that are working to get us on the right track regarding sustainability and environmental awareness.
Munster Sustainable & Green: MSG has been active since 2022 and is leading the way to educate and empower Munster residents to make the right environmental decisions. Follow on facebook here to learn more and get involved. facebook.com/groups/munstersustainableandgreen
Munster Sustainability Committee: The newly formed Sustainability Committee meets on the second Monday of the month at 4pm in the Town Hall (unless otherwise noted). Their goal is to provide assistance to the town in researching and implementing plans.

Munster High School Environmental Club: Smart students that care about their future and future generations. Right now MHS is hosting fabric recycling. The bin is on the south side of Munster High School.

WHERE TO DONATE CLOTHING AROUND MUNSTER, IN?
Salvation Army collects clothes and much more. Learn about NWI chapter at http://nwindiana.satruck.org/nwindiana/news/donations-needed
First Christian Church of Lansing: 2921 Ridge Rd. Lansing- Their Community Closet provides clothes for children and also adults. Clothing, shoes, purses, jewelry are perfect for here. Donation times are every Sunday 12:30-3:30pm except the third Sunday of the month.
Goodwill, 3679 Ridge Rd, Lansing- Usually a last resort for many who donate regularly. They will take anything though, and usually no limit on items.
Hearts in Motion, 2210 US 41 Schererville- They accept clothing, sporting equipment, household goods and more.
Legacy Thrift, 2821 Highway Ave – They accept clothing and other items. Proceeds go to Christian ministry work around the world.
